VASSALBORO — Junction Garden, owned and operated by Eileen Flanagan and John Cochrane, is a small-scale market farm using regenerative and organic farming practices specializing in natural dye plants and dye stuffs. The also grow their own fiber they dye naturally.
Early in the season they sell natural dye plants; dried natural dye stuffs such as dried weld, marigolds, cosmos, coreopsis and scabiosa; and farm-to-fiber products such as naturally dyed yarns from their sheep, along with botanically printed scarves, bandanas, tea towels and more.
Junction Garden products can be found at the Downtown Waterville Farmers Market on Thursdays, Hallowell Farmers Market on Saturdays, and Belgrade Lakes Farmers Market on Sundays.
