Nate Zeliger scored twice to lead the Mt. Blue boys soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Skowhegan on Tuesday in Farmington.
Finn Morton and Quin Lawless also scored for the Cougars (2-0) , and Wiktor Dziekanowski and Avery Kansas each had an assist.
Goalie Connor Noyes stopped 12 shots for the River Hawks (1-1).
BUCKFIELD 2, WINTHROP 0: Krosby Harvey scored and added an assist for the Bucks (3-0) in their win against the Ramblers (0-1) in Winthrop.
Nolan Litchfield also scored, and Gaven Parsons assisted on Harvey’s goal. Goalie Neil Haylock turned away seven shots for the shutout.
Gianni Haefele made seven saves for Winthrop.
LEAVITT 1, WINSLOW 0: Tyler Mates’ first-half goal was enough for the Hornets (2-0) to defeat the Black Raiders (0-2) in Winslow.
Serogzha Bezhenar assisted on the goal. Luke Horn made eight saves for the shutout.
Winsow’s Maddox Lambert stopped 15 shots.
EDWARD LITTLE 7, MESSALONSKEE 0: Khalid Mohamed netted a pair of goals in the Red Eddies’ (2-0) victory over the Eagles (0-1) in Auburn.
Orrin Slover, Boaz Maria, Adrian Otim, Christian Mazina and AJ Jibril also scored for Edward Little.
Red Eddies goalie Max Kimble earned the shutout by making four saves, and Dagen Gooding stopped seven shots for Messalonskee.
FIELD HOCKEY
NOKOMIS 3, CONY 0: Goalie Haylee Romasco stopped four shots in the Warriors’ (3–0) win over the Rams (1-2) in Augusta.
Delanie Randlett, Reese Moulton and Maeve Rush each scored in the first half for Nokomis.
Avery Maxim and Courtney Ramage combined to make 10 saves for Cony.
LEAVITT 1, LAWRENCE 1: The Hornets (1-1-1) and the Bulldogs (0-1-1) battled to a double-overtime tie in Fairfield.
Both goals came in the second half, with Jada Beedy scoring for Leavitt and Mya Dixon netting Lawrence’s goal.
Savannah Boulay set up the Hornets’ goal, and goalies Riley Millet and Sam Krebs combined to make four saves.
Natalie Pelletier had a helper for the Bulldogs, and Abbey Stewart stopped two shots.
GIRLS SOCCER
MESSALONSKEE 3, EDWARD LITTLE 1: The Eagles broke open a tie game with two goals in the second half to top the Red Eddies in Oakland.
Amelia Spry, Grace McKay and Cailyn Henning each added a goal for Messalonskee (1-0), and Henning and Elsie Spear registered assists. Kiana Carrier made eight saves in net.
Sophie Cote scored the lone goal for Edward Little (1-1). Goalkeeper Lola Cunningham made eight saves for the Red Eddies.
