State champions until proven otherwise, and a week into the season Bangor and Greely have yet to be proven otherwise.

The reigning Class A champion Rams received five first-place votes and the top spot in the first Varsity Maine girls soccer poll of the season. The Class B champion Rangers are third after garnering the second-most first place votes with three.

Scarborough, the 2024 Class A runner-up, is ranked second.


The Varsity Maine girls soccer poll is based on games played before Sept. 9, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
