As Augusta voters head to the polls, I urge my fellow residents to re-elect Stephanie Sienkiewicz as our at-large city councilor.
Stephanie has proven herself to be a thoughtful, dedicated public servant who listens to the people she represents. She does her homework, asks the right questions and makes decisions based on what’s best for the entire community, not special interests.
During her term, she has championed responsible budgeting, public safety and long-term planning. She’s worked to improve city services, support local businesses and address housing and infrastructure challenges with practical, forward-looking solutions. Her balanced, nonpartisan approach has earned the respect of colleagues and residents alike.
Stephanie shows up, engages with the public, responds to concerns and believes in transparent, accountable government.
Augusta needs steady, thoughtful leadership. Stephanie Sienkiewicz brings experience, integrity and a deep commitment to our city. Please join me in voting to re-elect her as at-large city councilor.
Robert Eric Austin, city councilor

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
