Jeremy Hanzel scored on a 4-on-3 power play 43 seconds into overtime, giving the Adirondack Thunder a 1-1 win over the Maine Mariners in an ECHL game Saturday night at Cross Insurance Arena.
Thunder goalie Tyler Brennan frustrated the Mariners with 38 saves. James Marooney scored Maine’s lone goal in the first period, after Adirondack’s Grant Loven opened the scoring just 1:25 into the contest.
Mariners goalie Brad Arvanitis finished with 22 saves.
