I’m writing about the double standard coming from the Trump administration, particularly the dumpster fires burning in the Department of Offense. We’ve got “Pistol Pete” Hegseth ordering the firing of hellfire missiles at alleged drug traffickers and ordering a second strike on any survivors to “kill ’em all” and let God sort ’em out.

Meanwhile, back at the White House, Humpty Trumpty issues a full and free pardon to convicted former Honduran President Juan Hernandez, a wealthy “businessman.” And what was the former president’s crime? He turned a blind eye to the trafficking of hundreds of tons of cocaine by drug-carrying boats.

This is the country we’re living in. If a person is wealthy or has connections, they get pardoned. If they’re not, a life jacket ain’t gonna save ’em.
