CORNVILLE – Brian Joseph Wright, 39, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Born in Skowhegan on Sept. 13, 1986, Brian was the beloved son of Randy and Deborah Lynn Cooley-Wright. He graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 2005 and earned his associates degree in autobody in 2007.

Brian was a devoted father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He treasured every moment with his daughter and shared countless memories with his longtime companion, Alexis.

A true outdoorsman, Brian loved snowmobiling, camping, and fishing with his brother and friends. He enjoyed working in the woods with his skidder and dreamed of living off the land. His passion for mechanics was evident in the time he spent working on motors with his nephew, Mason.

He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Brady; grandparents Carl and Rita Wright, Barbara Harthorn, and Galen and Joan Cooley; his great-aunt, Doris Laney; and his dear friend, Jesse Demo.

Brian is survived by his partner, Alexis Puccio; and daughter, Evelynn Wright; brother, Brent Wright; nieces Gabrielle, Mackenzie, Lydia, nephew, Mason; aunts Terry Watson (and partner Loren Walker) and Gale-Lynn Ashe (and wife Trisha), uncle Mike (and wife Cheral); cousins Derek and Erika Cooley; his second mother, Darlene Holt; and close friends Brian Franke (and partner Crystal Anderson); Tim White (and wife Tina), and their son Jayden.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 12 p.m. at the Somerset Valley Remembrance Center, 19 Washburn Lane, Skowhegan, with a reception immediately following.
