Wayne was predeceased by both of his parents, his sisters, Marilyn Champagne and Joleen Buchanan, his brother, John McKinley, and his wife of 42 years, Betty. He is survived by his sister, Gloria Frendt of Baldwinsville, N.Y. He is also survived by his children, Vicki Steward of Winslow, Todd Steward of Limington (and his partner, Kimberly Cooper), Sherry Ferguson of Skowhegan, Kelly Whitener of Hoquiam, Wash., Karen McKinley (and her husband Rich Cantz) of Windham, and Wendy McKinley, Wayne McKinley, Jr, and John McKinley (and his partner, Donna Woodard), all of Skowhegan. He leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
