A 40-point outburst in the second quarter propelled the Maine Celtics to a 102-94 win over the Salt Lake City Stars in an NBA G League game Thursday night at the Portland Expo.
Jalen Bridges scored 23 points, Amari Williams added 19 points and 11 rebounds, and four other Celtics reached double figures in points. Max Shulga contributed nine assists, three steals and two blocked shots.
Max Abmas led Salt Lake City with 21 points.
The teams play again Friday at the Expo.
