Rosalie Eleanor (Davis) Walker

BINGHAM – Rosalie Eleanor (Davis) Walker of Bingham died on Feb. 24, 2026, surrounded by her daughters. Born on Sept. 20, 1929, Rumford. Rosalie was the daughter of Theodore and Eleanor (Cole) Davis.

Rosalie graduated from Stephens High School in 1948. She married Donald Walker on Feb. 21, 1949. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter.

Rosalie worked as a store clerk and bank teller. Donald and Rosalie owned and operated the Caratunk General Store, where she worked as postmistress.

Faith was a cornerstone of Rosalie’s life. She was a devoted member of the First Congregational Church of Bingham, where she taught Sunday School, served as a Deaconess and was a dedicated member of the Church Circle and Choir. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Rosalie’s heart was her family. She is survived by daughters Linda Laweryson, Elizabeth Brochu, Rebecca Goodhue, Janet Melcher (Daniel) and Nancy Harrill (Jack). Grandchildren, Amy, Gary, Cathy, Corey, Adam, Hank, Denise, Erin, David, Lucas, Isaiah, Moriah, Chuck, Ezekiel, and Desiree. Great Grandchildren, Lindsay, Jess, Gabriel, Emily, Gavin, Keegan, Autumn, Belle, Marguerite, Eleanor, Wyatt, Luke, Avery, Madison, Jacob, Rebekah and Hannah. Great Great Grandchildren, Ayleah, Donovan, Hunter and Peyton, Also survived by family members, Naomi Robertson (James), Theodore Davis (Linda), Vera Davis and cherished nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband Donald, son’s in-law James Brochu, Henry Goodhue, Gary Laweryson and beloved grandson Justin Goodhue.

A Celebration of Life will be on March 21, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 7 Meadow Street.

The Walker Family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Lakewood Manor and Beacon Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during Rosalie’s final days.
