Maine State Police are investigating a possible homicide in Brunswick.
Tanner Dostie, 45, of Brunswick was arrested Friday night after the Bath Police Department responded to a reported disturbance and he made concerning statements, leading to a search at a residence in Brunswick, where a deceased man was found.
The victim was transported to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta, where an autopsy will be performed.
An ongoing investigation is being led by the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit South, with assistance from the Bath and Brunswick police departments, the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of State Fire Marshal.
Dostie is being held at Cumberland County Jail.
No new information was available Saturday.
