NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Diane J. Waiters, 75, passed away on March 19, 2026, in New Port Richey, Florida. She was born on Sept. 16, 1950, in Waterville, to the late Gardner F. Perry and Maude V. Jones (Perry).

Diane grew up in Fairfield, and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1968. She carried with her a love for life that was reflected in her many passions. Diane especially loved to travel, finding joy in new places and experiences. She was a devoted fan of The Beatles and had a deep and lasting love for animals.

Diane will be remembered for her strong will and the love she shared with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Sterling Waiters II; her daughter, Angela Ballard and her partner Jesse of Hampden ; her granddaughter, Christina Ballard and her partner Kyle of Lincoln; her grandson, Brandon Ballard and his fiancée, Samantha of Lincoln; and her great-grandchildren, Alaina, Mackenzie, Jase, and Carter. She is also survived by her brother, Richard J. Perry of Fairfield.

In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by her brother, Stephen J. Perry.

There will be no services per her request.

Diane’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
