High school sports coverage is proudly supported by Maine State Credit Union.
Ryan Bourque, Maranacook/Winthrop senior defender: Bourque caused 41 turnovers and snapped up 58 ground balls last season. One of the top defenders in Class C, Bourque’s play will be counted on as Maranacook/Winthrop looks to make a third straight Class C final.
Gavin Dennett, Cony junior defender: An All-KVAC selection as a sophomore, Dennett will lead Cony’s defensive group. The Rams return every starter from last season, and Dennett is among the standouts on an experienced team.
Tatum Doucette, Messalonskee senior attack/midfielder: A two-year captain, Doucette scored 12 goals and dished out 32 assists last season. His leadership will be an important piece as the experienced and talented Eagles look to contend for the Class B title.
Brayden Elliott, Gardiner senior attack: Elliott will be one of the players coach KC Johnson will count on to lead the offense, with fellow senior Logan Cote. Both Elliott and Cote passed 100 career goals last season.
Julian Reynolds, Mt. Blue senior attack: Reynolds suffered a season-ending knee injury in the second game of the 2025 season. As a sophomore, he was a strong utility player and led Mt. Blue in assists.
