Three pitchers combined on a three-hitter to lead the Hartford Yard Goats to a 5-1 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game Friday at Hadlock Field.
Alberto Pacheco and Blake Adams both went four innings and allowed one hit. Victor Juarez gave up a hit in the ninth.
John Holobetz pitched six innings for Portland, yielding four runs on eight hits while striking out three and walking one. He gave up hits to the first two batters he faced, including a two-run home run by Andy Perez. Zach Kokoska added a two-run shot in the fifth.
Ronald Rosario hit an RBI single in the second inning for the Sea Dogs. Max Ferguson extended his hitting streak to 10 games with a ninth-inning double.
