The Department of Transportation has announced Interstate 95 lane closures in the Sidney area this week to test and repair roadway sensors.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, lane closures can be expected on the southbound side of the interstate.
Traffic sensors allow the department to measure traffic on the interstate throughout the year.
The project work began south of Trafton Road at Exit 124 and ends south of Lyons Road at Exit 120 in Sidney.
The contractor on this project is All States Construction of Richmond, and the contract amount is $9,236,202.89.
