Lilian Ricol scored twice in a 10-minute span and Fort Wayne FC took control in the second half to earn a 3-0 win over the Portland Hearts of Pine in a USL League One game Wednesday night in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Ricol opened the scoring in the 54th minute, beating Hearts keeper Kash Oladapo with a shot from the right side of the penalty area that found the upper right corner.

Fort Wayne keeper Bernd Schipmann got an assist on the next goal, as Ricol ran onto a long lead pass and got a touch on it just outside the box. Oladapo was caught out of position and watched helplessly as the ball rolled into the corner to his left.

Taig Healy made it 3-0 in the 70th minute, capitalizing on a giveaway by Portland’s defense. Healy’s shot from the top of the box again eluded Oladapo to his left.

Hearts are now winless in their last five road games, including a loss to Vermont Green in the USL Open Cup. Portland is 2-2-3 in league play heading into another away game Saturday against Union Omaha.
