The Portland Sea Dogs had a home game postponed for the first time this season Wednesday when rain prevented a meeting with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

The game was rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Thursday, with the first of the two seven-inning games at Hadlock Field starting at 5 p.m.

New Hampshire scored in the ninth inning Tuesday night for a 3-2 victory in the opener of the six-game series that continues through Sunday.
