The Portland Sea Dogs scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings, but New Hampshire scored twice in the 10th to earn a 15-13 win in an Eastern League game on Friday at Hadlock Field in Portland.

The Sea Dogs trailed 7-0 in the second inning and were down 12-6 in the seventh before Will Turner hit an RBI double and Brooks Brannon belted his second home run of the game, a three-run shot that brought Portland within two.

New Hampshire added a run in the top of the ninth, but Brannon hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom half and Marvin Alcantara tied the game with a two-out, two-run homer.

In the 10th, Sean Keys hit a two-run home run off Tyler McDonough, an infielder who came on in relier. It was the second straight day a position player was the losing pitcher for Portland, after Caden Rose pitched three innings in the second game of a doubleheader on Thursday.

Jay Harry hit a three-run triple in the first and an RBI double in the second as New Hampshire jumped out to a 7-0 lead. Brannon started Portland’s comeback with a solo home run in the second. He also had an RBI single in the fourth, when the Sea Dogs scored twice to make it 8-3. He finished 3 for 4 with six RBI and two runs scored.

Nelly Taylor hit a solo homer and Nate Baez had a two-run shot in the fifth for Portland.
