The Lincoln County Community Theater is staging “Little Shop of Horrors” this weekend. The dark yet hilarious musical has been delighting audiences for several decades, which comes as no surprise because Alan Menken and Howard Ashman (“The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aladdin”) wrote the music, book and lyrics. Seymore Krelborn is a shy and struggling floral assistant whose life changes when he discovers a strange plant and names it Audrey II. Fame and fortune is on the line for Krelborn, but demands from the musical, murderous plant might be too much. The ensemble cast will be accompanied by a live orchestra.
