Nicole Bertha Beaudoin
ROCKVILLE, Md. – Nicole Bertha Beaudoin, 77, of Augusta, passed peacefully with family by her side on May 13, 2026.
Nicole was born on Nov. 23, 1948 in St. Georges, Quebec, Canada to J. Perley and Patricienne Boucher as the middle and only daughter amongst four brothers, Yvon, Richard, Mike and Larry.
She graduated from Cony High School in 1969 and went on to work at W.T. Grant and the Maine State Employees Association. On Sept. 12, 1970, she married the love of her life, Emile Beaudoin, and went on to have her two loving children, Steve (Tammy) and Jill (Pat) McPhillips. Nicole found happiness at home and in the work of her hands to include hobbies of sewing, knitting and creating the most treasured cross stich designs for her family. She was always looking forward to seeing the smiles of her six wonderful grandchildren who called her “Memere”, Abbie, Ben, Ellie, Lilly, Zoey and Hogan.
She is also survived by her brothers, Yvon, Mike and wife Wanda and Larry Boucher and wife Ellen; several cousins; nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family burial service at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Augusta Elks Lodge, 397 Civic Center Dr., Augusta, on Friday, June 12, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Please come join us to celebrate the life of Nicole to share good food, drinks and stories.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the wonderful staff at Alfredhouse Symphony in Rockville, Md. and the caring staff from Montgomery Hospice in her final moments.
