LONDONDERRY, NH – David Harold Dinsmore, 83, of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully on Nov. 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Gardiner, Maine, David lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, dedication to family, patriotism and quiet strength.

David graduated from Cony High School in Augusta, Maine, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine and his CPA certificate. He was also an Eagle Scout and a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He spent his career in the financial field and was widely respected for his exceptional ability to successfully turn around struggling companies, always placing the greatest importance on the welfare of the employees involved.

He enjoyed sailing, playing golf and spending time with his family. His greatest legacy was his favorite role: being a loving, caring and protective father, grandfather and husband. He set an example for all by always doing the right thing in every situation.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Ruth (Clark) Dinsmore, his mother and father-in-law William and Alice (Harvey) Hunt; his niece Vanessa Hunt Liby, and his nephew R. Scott DeRevere.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Martha (Hunt) Dinsmore; his sons Michael (Kim) Dinsmore and Matthew (Lisa) Dinsmore; his grandchildren Jonathan, Megan, William and Lucas Dinsmore; his sisters and brothers-in-law Lee Bakie (Gordon), Cynthia Lowery (Grover) and Kingdon Hunt (Teresita); his nieces and nephews Gary Derevere (Julie), Heather Vye (Gareth), Andrew Lowery (Kim), Kristen Demange (Benjamin) and Melissa Fisher (Carson); and his great-nieces/nephews Kayla DeRevere, Benjamin, Nicholas and Katherine Vye, Lani and Logan Lowery, Audrey and Bella DeMange and Gracie, Mia and Emmie Fisher.
