Timothy Charles O’Connor
WINTHROP – Timothy “Tiny” O’Connor, 71, of Winthrop, Maine, passed peacefully in April 18, 2026, in Augusta after a long period of declining health.
Tim was born Dec. 28, 1954, in Winthrop to Patrick and Yvonne (Crowell) O’Connor in Augusta. He attended Winthrop High School, Class of 1974, where he had a standout football career. After graduation, Tim became a master carpenter who worked on many construction projects, big and small. Tim really loved restoring old barns, a passion that he shared with his grandfather at only 10 years old.
Tim is survived by his companion Roxanne French; his daughter Kerbie O’Connor; his beloved granddaughter Irelynd; and his aunt Shirley Frost. He was predeceased by his parents; and his siblings, Mike O’Connor, Danny O’Connor, and Sandra Dickinson.
Tim will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his friends. He enjoyed lake fishing and long drives in his truck.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on May 23 at 10 a.m. at United Church of Monmouth, 778 Main St., Monmouth, Maine. Reception to follow.
