I am voting for Hannah Pingree because she has a proven record of effectively bringing people from different perspectives and walks of life together to solve Maine’s most pressing problems.
She has worked on housing issues, healthcare, climate change and worked to reduce taxes and
pass reasonable state budgets. She gained this experience from being chair of her school board, as a small hospitality business owner, developing affordable housing and serving for eight years in the state legislature, where she was the House majority leader and then speaker of the House.
For the past seven years, she served as director of the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. She is of the generation now raising families of their own and knows personally the challenges Maine families are facing.
Hannah Pingree is the person most prepared to be governor on day one.
