Our country is toxic and that is affecting all of us on a daily basis. It is not COVID-19 déjà vu. It’s much more desperate and cynical.
One of the most evil things imaginable is that Donald Trump has caused many people to hate: to hate women; hate gays; hate Black people; hate anybody who is not a MAGA hat-wearing Republican.
All this is done with such venom and un-Christian behavior. His misleading online postings are continuously filled with hate, rage and untruthful, malicious comments about others.
We are inundated by the war in Iran, Medicaid fraud, a proposed fighting match on the White House lawn, our 250th year celebration and the ballroom. All are continuous diversions from the Epstein files, Trump’s wealth acquisition, his golfing adventures and his family doing business with the government to increase their wealth.
We are “presidented” by a narcissistic egomaniac who demands retribution for any real or perceived affront, who needs constant affirmation of his self-perceived greatness. In his own words, he cares nothing about the financial well-being of the American people.
We are “led” by an egomaniacal man, not promoting unity but increasing toxicity and division.
