I have been thinking about Jonathan Bush’s comment during the Republican debate and his remark, in one of his ads, where he condemns “wokeness.” I associate “wokeness” with anti-DEI.
Most Republican officials are against DEI. Have they thought about what those letters stand for? “D” stands for diversity. I guess they want every body to be the same. “E” stands for equality. I guess they don’t want everyone to be equal. Look at all the gerrymandering. “I” stands for inclusion. I guess they don’t want certain people to be included in our democracy.
Have they read George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”?
