LYMAN – Patrick J. Jacques passed away on May 26, 2026, in a tragic vehicle accident. He had just turned 35 years old and had recently moved back to Maine after living in Florida for several years.
Patrick grew up in Kennebunk, and graduated from Kennebunk High School in 2010. He attended the University of Maine at Farmington, where he pursued a degree in art, but later changed careers and received his cosmetology degree in Florida. After earning his cosmetology license, he worked at various salons in Central Florida.
Throughout his life, Patrick pursued many different professions. In his younger years, he worked at Sugarloaf Mountain and was an avid snowboarder. He also worked as a waiter in various restaurants in the Kennebunk area and in Central Florida during the high season. He was known for being a polite and charming server.
Pat had recently moved back to the Kennebunk area, as he loved the Maine seasons and the recreational life the Maine woods offered. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed going to the family camp to canoe, swim, and fish. He loved the ocean, fire spinning, music, and spending time with his niece and nephew. He was never married and did not have any children.
Patrick is survived by his parents, Mark and Laurie Jacques; his older brother, Alexander Jacques, his twin sister, Elizabeth Jacques; his niece, Cadence Marcotte, and his nephew, Jackson Potvin.
We are heartbroken and will miss his bright smile and laughter very much.
