We have lived in Augusta for six years. In that time, we have seen many beautiful things including various walking paths along the Kennebec River.
However, these paths are constantly eroded by homeless encampments, along with their trash, discarded clothing and personal items such as maxi-pads and used toilet paper.
If Maine wants tourism dollars, something needs to be done.
