GJ Hill homered for the fourth time in four games, belting a two-run homer during a six-run sixth inning that carried the Hartford Yard Goats to a 10-8 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game Saturday night at Hadlock Field.
The Yard Goats erased an early 3-1 deficit and were ahead 4-3 before the sixth-inning outburst that including a two-run double from Zach Kokoska.
Hill finished with three RBI. He now has eight home runs this season — half of them since Wednesday.
Ahbram Liendo drove in five runs for the Sea Dogs, with a bases-loaded double in the second inning, a sacrifice fly in the sixth and an RBI single in the eighth. Liendo, Ronald Rosario, Nelly Taylor, Miguel Bleis and Caden Rose all had two hits for Portland.
