Gorham heads into the postseason as the top-ranked team in the Varsity Maine baseball poll — its third straight week at No. 1. The Rams (15-1) are on an 11-game win streak and are the top seed in the Class A South Heal point standings. They are one of four No. 1 seeds in the Varsity Maine Top 10.

Oxford Hills tops the Class A North standings and Ellsworth is No. 1 in B North. Both teams are 15-1 and have won nine straight games. Fryeburg (13-3) is the top seed in B South. (The Class C No. 1s — Washington in the North and Monmouth in the South — are among the teams also receiving votes.)

Cony is ranked for the first time since May 5. Other than that, the only changes from last week are Mt. Ararat and Bangor swapping the fifth and sixth spots, and Ellsworth jumping Fryeburg for the No. 7 ranking.
