Voters in the Maine School Administrative District 49 approved a $36.51 million spending plan Tuesday.
MSAD 49 encompasses the towns of Albion, Benton, Clinton and Fairfield. All four towns approved the budget in a ballot referendum.
The spending plan is 2.7% higher than the 2025-26 budget.
In Albion, with a tally of 316-169, about 64% of voters voted yes, as did about 62% of voters in Clinton, where the vote was 461-270. It passed with about 56% of the vote in both Benton, where the vote was 361-280 and Fairfield, where the vote was 654-504.
