Carolyn Lottie Giles
SKOWHEGAN – Carolyn Lottie Giles passed away April 27, 2026. She was born in Pittsfield, Maine, to Fernald and Kathryn Giles. She had two brothers, Kenneth and Raymond.
She was the life partner of Gertrude “Trudy” Pomelow who passed away Aug. 14, 2025.
She leaves behind her stepchildren (Trudy’s children), Kelly, Tracy, Roy, Sharon and their families whom she loved dearly. Also, a niece Katrina; Trudy’s siblings; and life long friend, Gladys.
She was very generous and donated freely to many causes, but her true compassion was with animals. She especially enjoyed donating, both money and time, to the animal shelter in Skowhegan.
A graveside service will be held July 11, at 10 a.m., at Forest Hills Cemetery, in Madison.
