Jason D. Pearson
AUGUSTA – Jason D. Pearson, 43, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.
He was born in Augusta on May 20, 1983, son of David W. Pearson and Cynthia S. Cloutier. Jason was a graduate of Cony High School in 2002.
Despite life’s many challenges, Jason lived life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his Mom and extended family.
He was predeceased by his father, David W. Pearson; his maternal grandmother, whom he called “Papa” Carol (Katon) Cloutier, his paternal grandparents; and an uncle, Russell Frantz-Cloutier.
Jason is survived by his mother, Cynthia S. Cloutier of Augusta; his maternal grandfather, Dominique Cloutier II; uncles Dominique Cloutier III “Nick” and wife Mary, Shawn Cloutier and fiancé Susan Trego, Jonathan Cloutier and wife Christine, aunts Lynn Dolloff, Diane Frantz-Cloutier and Cheryl Frith and husband Michael; as well as several cousins; two half-brothers, Harry and John Pearson, two half-sisters, Kristen Humphries and Haley Pearson.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Hallowell Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Families Matters for the many years of activities and Special Olympics along with the Veilleux/Crowe Residential Home for the wonderful compassion they showed to Jason and the family during his time in their care.
