I read, with good humor, Louis Phillips’ recent letter suggesting appropriate institutions to carry our current president’s name in his honor (“Kennedy Center consolation prizes for the president,” June 18).
While very much on target, I’m afraid that these places may be on a scale a bit too small for Mr. Trump given his large ego and need for grandiosity. May I suggest an area of North America that might meet his lofty goals, as well a describe him “to a T”?
It is an awesome place, very familiar to me, found in both the Western United States and Canada (home to our good northerly cousins and neighbors.)
It’s called the Continental Divide.
