Enough’s enough. When will Republican lawmakers in Washington stand up and say what most of us know? Donald Trump is not fit to be president.
How can they back a so-called leader who continually makes up stories: claiming the Italian prime minister wanted to have a photo taken with him because he felt sorry for her; blaming vandals for his $14 million-$17 million job on the Washington reflecting pool, which no one has been able to stop from leaking since it was completed in 1923; repeatedly boasting that the Iran deal was imminent. He lies and then lies some more.
Trump is destroying America’s respected place in the world by alienating our allies, starting a war and jumping from issue to issue with the attention of a goldfish. It’s time for Congress, including Maine Sen. Susan Collins, to invoke a portion of the Constitution’s 25th Amendment that calls for the removal of a president if he’s physically or mentally incapacitated.
Instead of dealing with the high price of groceries and gas, he stays up half the night ridiculing people on social media. On Father’s Day, he posted 46 times.
Is that a president who has all his marbles? It’s time he steps down or is pushed out.
