Cheryl Keelan
AUGUSTA – Cheryl Keelan, 65, of Augusta died on June 27, 2026, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough surrounded by her family.
She was born on Dec. 18, 1960, in New Haven, Conn., to Robert and Martha Keelan. She graduated from Winslow High School in 1979, Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing (class valedictorian) in 1983 and the Master of Public Health program, Boston University in 1989.
Working in Maine, New Hampshire and Florida over 40 years, Cheryl enjoyed a rewarding and varied career in nursing and public health. She also volunteered with the Peace Corps in Turkmenistan, Burkina Faso and Honduras.
She is survived by her sister Sally (Tom Landry) and her brother Bill (Diane).
Services will be private.
