    The moon sets behind the Maine State House around 6:47 a.m. on Jan. 31, 2018, in Augusta. It was called a super blue blood moon which is three fairly common moon events that are all happening at the same time. The super means the moon is closer to Earth then usual and so appears larger. The blue means it is the second full moon of the month and the blood is for the red color caused by a total lunar eclipse. But on the east coast the moon set before totality occurred.
