SALEM — Amos Withee scored 30 points as the Mt. Abram boys basketball team beat Monmouth 65-61 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Thursday.
Ian James added 18 points for Mt. Abram, which improves to 7-8.
Marcques Houston scored 17 points and Brandon Goff 11 for Monmouth (6-8).
Oxford Hills 66, Cony 60: Luke Davidson scored 18 points and Ken Lynch added 12 to lead the Vikings to the KVAC A win in Augusta.
Jake Plummer scored 11 points for Oxford Hills (6-8), which led 34-24 at the half.
Liam Stokes scored 11 points and Mitch Bonenfant added 10 to pace the Rams (4-10).
Madison 64, Hall-Dale 31: Austin Kane scored a game-high 21 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead host Madison to the MVC victory.
Chase Malloy scored 10 points while Dylan Price added seven for Madison (8-7). Center Chris Hayden turned in a strong performance off the bench, scoring six points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Brian Allen scored eight points to lead Hall-Dale (8-6).
Kents Hill 78, Hebron 71: Eli Roberts had 32 points as the Huskies rallied in the second half to beat the Lumberjacks 78-71 on Wednesday.
Nelkas Kwemo added eight points and 16 rebounds, while Ethan Feldman had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Kents Hill (6-5). Jake Ades added 11.
Shaq Cezont-Holmes scored 31 points, Ian King had 13 and Chad Manchulenko added 10 for Hebron (4-7).
College men
Husson 63, Colby 52: Richmond native Mark Zaharchuk scored 16 points and added nine rebounds to lead the Eagles to the non-conference victory at Wadsworth Gymnasium in Waterville.
Eric Cottonham finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists for Husson (11-5).
Ryan Jann and Chris Hudnut each had nine points to lead Colby (6-11).
