Robert Haselton, of Hallowell, photographs a saw-whet owl Thursday during a presentation by the environmental education group Chewonki about owls that reside in Maine at 70 State St. in Augusta. In addition to the smallest Maine owl, a barred and great horned owl were also shown to guests at the building owned by Richard Parkhurst that houses numerous nonprofit groups. The first monthly cultural show at the building raised funds for the Augusta Colonial Theater's restoration project.
