BANGOR — A Presque Isle man has been sentenced to two years and two months in prison on federal drug charges.
Wayne MacFarline was also sentenced Tuesday to three years of probation upon completion of his prison sentence.
The 30-year-old MacFarline pleaded guilty in May to one count of possession with intent to distribute a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine.
Prosecutors say MacFarline was arrested in October 2011 as he was trying to sell 90 pills that he had bought from his cousin.
The Bangor Daily News reports that MacFarline, who has two young daughters, apologized in court for letting his family down.
