Politics have long been plagued with extremists, those bleeding red versus those bleeding blue.

The concept of balance, seemingly lost, has been mostly ignored.

This is why I am so excited about Dick Perry, Republican running for the Maine House of Representatives District 77.

Perry is not a savior nor a promised one, but he is balanced. And I believe that’s what we need most in our city, in our state and in our country.
