Marshall “Rocco” Perfetto
FRIENDSHIP – Marshall Landon “Rocco” Perfetto, 1, entered into the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 at the Sussman House in Rockport.
Rocco was born on Oct. 25, 2018, at Myles Hospital in Damarsicotta to Marshall and Danielle (Myers) Perfetto.
He spent each day of his 15-month life with one or both of his parents, as they work per diem and run an at-home agency.
Rocco’s life was nothing short of a gift from the Creator. He won hearts and brightened rooms everywhere he went. He filled the Perfetto household with more love in his short life than most people experience in a lifetime. Rocco enjoyed being the talk of the town at Jameson Point Lobster Company all summer long.
He had a way of lifting even the heaviest of hearts. His favorite pastimes included playing with his sister before and after school each day, laughing, cuddling, visiting local nursing homes, and eating bananas and blueberries. He is now flying high with Jesus and many loved ones who have passed on before him including Mary Ruth Sawyer, Carl Sawyer, Robert and Mary-Lou Myers, Leo and Jane Berthiaume, and Lou and Betty Perfetto.
He is survived by his loving parents and sister, Marshall, Danielle, and Gabrielle Perfetto; his aunts and uncles Shamus and Catherine Perfetto, Nathan and Lucinda Lee, Cassie Myers and Luke Murphy, Robert and Lourdes Myers, and Luke and Lynnette Myers; great grandmothers Flora J. Sawyer and Joan Perfetto; grandparents William and Terry Perfetto, Mark Myers, and Deborah Myers and Nathan Lambshead; along with his cousins Cody Davis, Liam Perfetto, and Kiley Lee, and many other relatives and close friends.
He will be greatly missed by his family and community.
A celebration of Rocco’s life will be held at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro, 71 Grace Ave.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
