WATERVILLE — Plans are underway for the annual winter carnival set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Quarry Road Recreation Area. There will be a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts of all interests, ages and abilities.
The event will be hosted by Friends of Quarry Road and the city of Waterville, in collaboration with several other local organizations.
The planning committee seeks individuals or groups interested in serving as volunteer coordinators for key components of the event such as food and parking.
