Arrests
AUGUSTA
THURSDAY
At 10:11 a.m., Kenneth J. Scheno, 46, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on a warrant at the Augusta Police Department on Union Street.
1:52 p.m., Stephen D. Kirkley, 19, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of trafficking in prison contraband and refusing to sign a criminal summons at the Kennebec County jail on State Street. A few hours later Kirkley was charged with two counts of assault, two counts of terrorizing and one count of refusing to sign a criminal summons.
4:09 p.m., Rachel Renee Martin, 24, of Augusta, was arrested on warrants at the Bread of Life homeless shelter on Hospital Street.
5:35 p.m., David Brian Silva Jr., 33, of Carver, Mass., was charged with obstructing government administration at the Kennebec County jail.
FRIDAY
At 4:26 a.m., Leo A. Thompson, 25, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of burglary, possession or transfer of burglar’s tools, criminal mischief, theft and criminal trespass by police responding to a report of a burglary in progress at Ouellette Apartment Building on State Street.
2:37 a.m., Steven Kenneth Jasper, 37, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct by police responding to a complaint on Water Street.
