BENTON — Alan and Kathy Fisher of Benton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Makayla Fisher of Old Town to Michael O’Connor of Old Town, son of Michael and Theresa Dow of Milford and the late James O’Connor.
Makayla is a cousin to Ryan Fisher and Andrea Donahue.
Makayla is a 2009 graduate of Husson University, where she studied nursing, and is currently at the University of Maine in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She is employed at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor.
Michael is a 2004 graduate of Washington Community College. He is employed by Sargeant Corporation in Stillwater.
A Fall 2014 wedding is planned.
