Kudos to Regional School Unit 18 teachers for coming together in an unselfish way by sacrificing a portion of their pay for the good of their district and students (Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel, Aug. 30).

An act such as this seems to be a rarity in these difficult times. I am sure many will appreciate it.
