SKOWHEGAN — Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County, Inc. invites the community to the dedication of the Shirley Bastien Memorial Garden at 3:30 p.m. today at the HVSC office, 41 Main St.

Bastien, one of the founding mothers of HVSC and a master gardener, died earlier this year. Hospice created this garden to recognize her long-standing commitment to the organization. Light refreshments will be served after the dedication.
