AUGUSTA — Maynard J. Marin, 59, of New Gloucester, pleaded guilty Friday in Kennebec County Superior Court to a charge of driving to endanger.

Marin originally was charged with operating under the influence after being stopped Feb. 5 in Augusta.

He was scheduled for a jury trial Friday, and instead opted to plead guilty to the lesser charge.

Marin was fine $650 and his license was suspended for 30 days.
