FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue Music Boosters recently announced the return of the flamingo flocks. From Sunday to Saturday, May 12, the group will deposit flocks of flamingos on a lucky recipients’ yards. For a $15 donation, individuals can order a flock of flamingos to be planted on another person’s front yard. The flamingos will stay until the next evening. Organizers will pick them up and take them to their next destination.

Proceeds will go towards scholarships to Regional School Unit 9 students for summer music camps and private music lessons. Funds are also used to help defray the costs of attending state music concerts, as well as buying and/or repairing musical instruments for student use.
