MaineGeneral Hospice Volunteers of Kennebec Valley has announced two upcoming support groups.

• “Healing Hearts,” a seven-week grief support program for families with children ages 3 to 17 who are grieving the death of a loved one, will begin on Thursday, from 5:45 to 7 p.m., at Green Street United Methodist Church. Children, teenagers and adults will meet in age-appropriate groups. There will be art, play and storytelling to explore and express grief. There is no cost.

• A six-week general loss group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. The first meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Conference Room B3500, Alfond Center for Health.
