The Augusta Elks presented a $5,000 check Feb. 1 to the Colonial Theatre project.
Funds donated were raised by the Augusta Elks First Festival of Trees in December, according to a news release from the Elks.
In attendance were Colonial Theatre Director Kathi Wahl, board member Richard Parkhurst, Elks Exalted Ruler Tim Rodrigue, First Lady Vicki Rodrigue and Leading Knight Dan Howlett.
